Refurbishment of two electric arc furnaces and commissioning of a new continuous casting machine of enhanced capacity will enable reduced specific consumption of fossil carbon-intensive raw materials and fuel. It will help achieve steady production growth based on modern 'greener' ways of steelmaking.
The project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere, as well as emissions of common pollutants and, on the whole, it will mitigate the harmful impact on the environment.
